Environmental Professional
We are currently seeking an environmental professional with 8 to 10 years experience to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to assist senior management, and will be responsible for managing significant projects in environmental assessments, remediation and reclamation of upstream oil and gas industry sites. Knowledge and experience in water treating would be an asset in this position.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geological Sciences or a related field of study such as Agronomy, Agrology, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology.
Professional Designation:
Professional membership with AIA, APEGGA, CCEP, CEPIT, or eligibility to obtain professional designation with an organization recognized by Alberta Environment is important.
Experience:
Minimum of eight years experience in reclamation, contaminated site assessment, and site remediation in Western Canada, as well as a proven track record, is required.
Personal Qualifications:
Ability to interface with clients and meet client expectations;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to manage personnel;
Commitment to Health and Safety;
Additional requirements which will be considered in the candidate selection process will include:
Knowledge and understanding of Alberta regulatory requirements;
First Aid training;
WHMIS training;
TDG training;
H2S Alive training; and
Ground Disturbance training.

Part-time Office Manager
We are currently seeking a part-time office manager. We are looking for someone with bookkeeping skills and who is proficient with the Simply Accounting program. The successful applicant will be able to bring organization to our daily procedures, has excellent communication skills and 10+ years experience managing a small office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the environmental consulting industry.

Contract Reclamation Technician
Ark Envirotech Inc has openings for several contract personnel.
The work to be done includes Phase I Site Assessments, Detailed Site Assessments, Pre Construction Site Assessments and related reclamation work. There will also be opportunities to participate in remediation and other environmental consulting work.
These positions are initially part time.
Applicants should have three or more years of field experience and have good report writing capabilities.
